I love going to conventions, and I got tired of people asking me who I was cosplaying while wearing lolita at them, so I had to start cosplaying sooner or later. I've done four cosplays so far, and hopefully there will be more to come- particularly if I ever get around to learning how to sew.
For my first time cosplaying, I donned the painful outfit of everyone's favorite brother. The second time I wore it, I upgraded to some more accurate sunglasses and hand-painted the skull design on my jacket with Angelus leather paint.
This one was completely store-bought, so I don't have much to say about it, but it was really fun hanging out with the other HxH cosplayers.
The first cosplay I ever made myself. It was a lot of work, but I'm really happy with how it turned out.
After the magnum opus that was Tsukema Tsukeru, I wanted to take a break and do something simpler. I used HeatnBond to iron the fish shapes onto the dress and I think it ended up looking pretty nice. The forehead curlicue is simply wrapped around a piece of toilet paper roll and pinned into place.
